The Design Chapter supported the Primark store design team by creating a full CGI animation of the new small format store. This was used during the concept development stage to introduce the new scheme to the business and refine certain elements that had also been prototyped.
The Bolton store is the second pilot store of the new small format stores, the first launched just before in Montijo, Portugal.
This new pilot has challenged sustainability throughout all materials used, from SMILE plastics to eco-board. All existing fixtures have been adapted to maximise the stores eco-credentials.
The Design Chapter were also involved in designing the brand-new Beauty concept in collaboration with the store design team. This concept was launched earlier in 2024 in the Penny’s Dublin store and has been developed to suit the new small store format pallet.
